Murdoch Student Law Society is the association representing students enrolled in law, criminology, legal studies and business law through the Murdoch University School of Law. We are among the largest and most active societies at Murdoch and support students in creating networks, building skills and connecting to the future. We place great emphasis on students’ experience during their tertiary education whilst also seeking to bridge the gap and ease the transition for students as they graduate, enter the workforce and begin their career.

MSLS x Clayton Utz P2P Mentoring Program

We understand how difficult the first couple years of law school can be. Learning about the University policies and procedures, understanding how to undertake legal research, rigorous standards for work product, worrying about being present on campus, and engaging with classess and lectures. This all can be overwhelming and present unique challenges. No one knows better than those who have already been through it.

This is a program designed to connect senior students with junior law students. The goal is to provide a source of practical and experienced-based knowledge on how best to navigate law school.

For Mentors: Through this program, you can mentor a junior student and future colleague, share your compassionate about the difficulties of the first few years of law school, and pass on your abundant knowledge!

For Mentees: Through this program, you will build communities on campus, build a better network and learn all the useful law school tips and tricks from a future colleague!
