Junior Witness Examination

Simulating a criminal trial, Witness Examination (or WitEx to old hands) sees you prepare either a criminal defence or prosecution and present your case before a judge! Master the skills of Examination-in-Chief, Cross-Examination, Criminal Procedure, and of course Objections, in a friendly yet competitive setting.

Open only to First Years, Junior Witness Examination is the perfect way to develop your skills, meet new friends, network with professionals and have a tonne of fun in an easier competition designed to introduce you to the wonderful world of MSLS Comps.


Time COMMITMENT

  • Two general rounds over two weeks.

  • Knockout finals and grand final

  • 48 hours prep time

Dates

  • Crash Course: 1:45pm, 4 March (Monday, Wk 2)

  • Initial Question Release: 11 March

  • Round 1: 18 March

  • Round 2: 25 March

  • Quarter-Finals: TBD Week 6

  • Semi-Finals: TBD Week 6

  • Grand Final: TBD Week 7
